Home Service Agents sends automated text messages to business owners who explicitly opt in during account registration. This page describes our opt-in process, message types, frequency, and how to opt out.
Users provide explicit consent during Step 1 of the account registration flow at homeserviceagents.com/onboarding. Before they can proceed, they must enter their business phone number and actively check an unchecked SMS consent checkbox. The Continue button remains disabled until both the phone number is entered and the checkbox is checked. Consent is logged with a UTC timestamp in our database at the moment of form submission.

The checkbox is unchecked by default. The Continue button is disabled until the user actively checks it.
Call alert
Sent after Riley handles an inbound call. Includes caller name, number, and a summary of the conversation.
Voicemail summary
Sent when a caller leaves a message. Includes a transcribed summary so the business owner can respond quickly.
Account notification
Sent for important account events such as plan changes, provisioned number updates, or billing issues.
Message frequency: Varies based on inbound call volume. Businesses that receive more calls will receive more notifications. Most users receive between 1–10 messages per day. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
Reply STOP to any message at any time to immediately opt out of all SMS notifications. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
Reply HELP to any message to receive support contact information.
SMS notifications can also be disabled at any time from your dashboard under Settings → Notifications.
